Twice Born: Memoirs of an Adopted Daughter was re-issued in August, 2006, by Other Press. It has a new Afterward on how adoption has changed and not changed since it was first published in 1975.

The King of Children: The Life and Death of Janusz Korczak was re-issued by the American Academy of Pediatrics, in 2005, with an Introduction by Elie Wiesel. The Academy made Korczak a posthumous honorary member, declaring him "the world’s greatest pediatrician and child advocate." Korczak chose to go with the orphans of the Warsaw Ghetto to Treblinka, rather than accept offers to save his life. Dr. Stephen Berman, a past president of the Academy, writes in his Preface that Korczak’s remarkable and unprecedented contributions inspire us to be strong and committted advocates for "throw away" children who are being abused and exploited throughout the world.
